Daycare & Preschool Minutes from Maplewood, NJ
Maplewood families don't have to go far for licensed child care. Our Springfield Avenue center sits in Vauxhall, just over the Maplewood border, and cares for children ages 2 years – 13 years.
A short drive from the Maplewood border
Brainiac's Childcare Center — Springfield Avenue is at 2147 Springfield Ave, Vauxhall (Union Township), NJ 07088. For most families coming from central Maplewood, the trip is roughly a 5-minute drive straight along Springfield Avenue, so the center fits naturally into a morning that ends at the train station, a home office or a job further east in Union or Irvington.
Drop-off is meant to be simple. Springfield Avenue is a main road that many Maplewood parents already use every day, so there are no detours through unfamiliar side streets. Pull up, walk your child in, say goodbye to the teacher and get back on the same road you arrived on. Pickup works the same way at the end of the day.
Choosing a daycare outside your own town can feel like a big step, but the distance here is often shorter than a trip across Maplewood itself. Because Vauxhall has its own 07088 postcode, the center can be easy to miss in a search for "daycare in Maplewood", even though it is right on your doorstep.
